Healing the Child Within

Someone asks you for something, and before you even think about it, you hear yourself say “yes.” Even though you’re tired, you don’t actually want to, and part of you feels resentful.

Later you think, “Why didn’t I just say no? Why do I keep reacting this way…even when I don’t want to?”

As adults, we can find ourselves caught in patterns that don’t always make sense : people pleasing, shutting down, reacting strongly, getting into emotionally unhealthy relationships, or holding ourselves back.

Often, these responses are rooted in earlier experiences, when we learned how to navigate the world in ways that felt safest at the time.

While our childhood may have included moments of love and support and we were provided food and shelter, many of us also experienced times when parts of ourselves didn’t feel fully seen, understood, or accepted.

So we adapted. We learned to adjust, to protect, to become who we needed to be.

And even now, those patterns can continue to shape how we think, feel, and relate, often outside of our awareness.

This 6-week guided experience is designed to help you understand those patterns and begin developing a more supportive relationship with yourself.

Through nervous system and inner child education, somatic practices, community connection and reflection, you’ll begin to gently explore new ways of responding.

This 6-week guided experience you will:

  • Understand your nervous system and why you respond the way you do.

  • Understand what the inner child is and how early experiences shaped your patterns.

  • Start becoming conscious how these patterns show up in your daily life and relationships.

  • Experience supportive, body-based tools in the sessions and practice during the week and have a What’sApp community of support.

  • Guide you in beginning to reparent those younger parts of yourself with more awareness and compassion.

With greater awareness, you begin to have more choice in how you respond.

What makes this different:

This is not about reliving painful experiences. It’s about gently building awareness, increasing your capacity, and learning how to support yourself in a new way. You’ll be held in a small, supportive group where you can explore at your own pace.

  • Week 1: 6-8pm: 2-hour opening session

  • Week 2-6: 6-7:30pm: 1.5 hour sessions

  • Integration Zoom gathering after the series
